GET TO KNOW ME

My Why

I have been photographing humans and love for the past 12 years, I always say I have the best “job” in the world because it has hardly felt like work. Every person I’ve been able to meet on the other side of my camera has changed me for the better in one way or another, and I only hope I can do that for them too. I prioritize experience over everything.

At the end of the day most any photographer can deliver good photos, but I want to give more than that – I want to hold space for you to show up completely yourself with hearts wide open. Forget the poses & expectations of what photos “should” be, let’s create something beautiful together that authentically preserve this milestone of your life, no matter how big or small.

GET TO KNOW ME

Hobbies

Outside of photography, I spend my time gardening, camping, rock climbing, raising chickens and bees, skydiving, snowboarding, dirt biking, building things, and learning new things.

More than anything I love to be with the people I love, my family and chosen family, and the two little ladies that make my world go round.

WHO I LOVE

My Little Ladies

My world revolves around these two little ladies: Meeko & Luce.

Meeko is my raccoon – deer – cookies and cream – bear cub baby. She’s a 7-year-old Aussie whose love language is an overwhelming amount of physical touch and making friends with anyone and anything that breathes (chickens, fish, bugs, you name it). Her favorite things to do include staring at me all day, swimming in circles until I pull her out of the lake, and chasing after deer and cattle.

Luce is my little grandma – sea lion – cow – potato – lizard – cat. She’s a rescued 13-year-old pitbull who I’ve had since she was 5. She’s been my greatest teacher of patience and unconditional love. She’s fierce and incredibly tender. She loves to bake in the sun (so much that I have to put sunscreen on her little utters), graze on grass like a cow, sniff out every critter and bug, and napping 22 hours a day.

GET TO KNOW ME

Home

I grew up in a small rural town in Eastern Utah. Growing up we had to make our own fun, so I spent most of my childhood catching frogs, playing in the garden with snakes, riding horses, camping in the desert, dirt biking, riding through town in the back of a pickup truck, climbing trees, and floating rivers.

It’s shaped so much of who I am today, growing up in that sacred basin of native Ute land gave me a deep respect for mama earth and appreciation for the simple things.

Utah is my home and although I’ve traveled to hundreds of the most beautiful places in the world, this is where my heart always comes back to.

MY PHILOSOPHY

Learn About The Experience
I’m about
Capturing you two for who you truly are.

     I’m not interested in
            photographing some posed,
                  fake, unrealistic version
of who you are. Anyone can do that.
I want to go beyond that.
I want this to be more for you.
Because after all is said and done,
                         what really matters is that
you come out of it loving each other
                      more. Your unique story
is a wild one. Thank you for trusting
me with it. We’re going to
     to capture the real stuff.

I don’t create for
I create with.
The goosebumps. The gut-busting laughs. The connection. The loud & the quiet. The happily unplanned. The eternal love.
Whatever your adventure may be
it deserves to be remembered for decades to come.
This is your little legacy.

Love is love.

I believe love is love. I aim to hold space for every individual who connects with my work, and to me, it is an honor to create an inclusive and safe space for LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples. Without hesitation, pause, or question, I will lovingly document any milestones for any human who feels a connection to me or my work.
